Tortona District: where design, fashion and culture converge all year round!

Tortona District: where design, fashion and culture converge all year round!

Zona Tortona is an lively and creative district, just a few metro stops away from Milan City Centre. The area has become a key destination for the international design and fashion community: the Milan Design Week, the Fuori Salone and the Fashion Weeks take place here. The headquarters of international brands like Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Antonio Marras, Ermenegildo Zegna, Tod’s, Diesel, Belstaff, Stone Island, etc. are located here, as well as start-up hubs and unconventional hotels + bars, restaurants, etc. Architecture is unique: former industrial buildings have been re-planned to host not only fashion and design activities but also the Museum of Cultures (MUDEC) and the Teatro alla Scala workshops: most of the handmade works for the production - like costumes, set design, sculptures, etc. - are carried out here in a former steel factory.
We will take a walk among these roads full of very well-known brands, discover art installations, private gardens and hidden passages.
At the end we can take time for “focaccia” tasting in a popular Panetteria or shopping with a special reduction card in a small made-in-Italy shoe shop!
